My income tax bill last year for the state was under $2K. We have better roads, better schools, more reliable utilities, and stronger worker protections than the neighboring state. I also get to cast a vote for the gov that will spend that money. Oil execs are accountable to no one.

Some of my coworkers commute nearly 4 hrs (round trip) 3x/week. But many of those folks live in a neighboring state just to avoid paying income taxes. Bold move to pay an extra $1,200 - $1,500/yr directly into the pockets of oil execs just so you can spend 1/3 of your waking hours in a fuckin car.
