My friends took the day off and we did a late birthday celebration in our local 🍏 🍎 region Started the day with Apple donuts (which I forgot to take a pic of) We also did wine tasting, bought pies & caramel apples & shopped

Last week, before I intubated 2 patients, I told them, "It will be ok; I GOT YOU" & saw the relief in their faces. I was right & they have both left the ICU. Such an incredible privilege to be in the position to be able to say those words in a life or death situation. #Medicine is humbling.
