Another visit to the Brent River Park by @jim.londoncentric.media who reported on sewage misconnections last year. Assisted by our trustee Ben Morris, founder of @brentpollution.bsky.social, he collected ‘poop vegetables’ from along the Brent. An amusing take on a serous and persistent problem.

Legend has it old oak ship timbers reside in buildings. Almost always not true, unless you live near a dockyard Pointless mortices & joints cut in timber point to an older local building supplying the wood Oaks weight made transport difficult in a era of horse & cart
