@ukhadds.bsky.socialA week! That is a little overkill. Simply opening all for doors would also work in under a minute. It might be worth getting a CO2 monitor for stuff like this. It’ll the CO2 is near ambient (under 500ppm), the place is well ventilated, there is little exhaled air and the virus is decaying quicker.
Show PostThank you! So, leaving it sit a week was probably overkill, ha ha! I really appreciate your response. Thank you!
Show PostGetting ready to see the latest in aerosol science (with @hairyaerosol.bsky.social)! Gonna be a good week in Xi’An, China. #IAC2026
Show PostYeah, it’s showing a lot of promise. Like all new technologies, there’s always the push and pull of promises and deliverables. We’re working hard to be able to nail down how well far-UVC inactivates pathogens in “real-world” environments. Unfortunately, science takes a long time.
Show Post3/3 ...and it looks like Far-UVC is now picking up momentum. I hope that David Brenner and early UVC pioneer Edward Nardell will get the credit they deserve. [At the ICFUST 26 conference Nardell just reported 91% reduction of human generated TB transmission with Far-UVC. Astonishing!!🤞].
