I agree. I‘ve been really annoyed about the lack of journalistic focus on the merits of the woman who won the election. She has a wealth of experience already on the local council and in her life growing up in the area. Would they have reported this way had she been a man? I don’t know.

Coda: My judgemental-ness was then repaid in full because I accidentally started the car while it was in gear and it stalled backwards into a signpost 😆 (As it was not a particularly well anchored signpost, it just moved a bit and then went back in place and the car was fine! But that'll teach me 😅)
