Italy is speeding up visas for Russian citizens, cutting tourist visa processing from 60 to 45 days. Italy issued about 161K visas to Russians last year — roughly a quarter of all Schengen visas granted to Russian nationals. Once admitted to Italy, holders can travel throughout the Schengen Area.
