💯 and I still believe ability to properly communicate what & how debilitating PEM is (to someone who has & never may experience it), is the greatest challenge we face. Considering this frequently recently - e.g. Exactly how similar communication issues were successfully overcome in the past? ⭐️

I broadly agree, but whatever is chosen does have tangible consequences for the diagnosis of patients who tend to have relatively short PEM duration (a day or so). "Is it PEM or not?" I don't know what the *right* answer is, but it's fundamentally a trade-off between inclusion and specificity..
