@michamuller.bsky.socialDid you ever want to sequence that one interesting cell you observed in your microscopy experiment? We have a new pre-print out today that describes a genetic barcoding method, Waldo, to perform live-cell imaging and single-cell sequencing on the same single cells. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Show PostExcited to share the first preprint from our lab! We combined a DNA Typewriter lineage recorder with clone-resolved founder profiling to find what makes metastatic potential heritable in lung cancer xenografts. 1/13 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Show PostVery happy to see this story out in the wild!
Show PostAnnual killifish continue to surprise us: they make neutrophils before almost every other cell type, even before gastrulation. Neutrophils usually arise from the lateral plate mesoderm (forming in cyan), but in killifish they are already patrolling around the embryo in gold. tinyurl.com/killiphil
Show Post1/11 Excited to share my postdoc work from @schierlab.bsky.social and Rainer Friedrich! 🐟👃 How does the brain decide whether an odor is good or bad? In larval zebrafish, we find that odor preference is reflected in spatially cohesive neuronal domains of the olfactory bulb. 🧵
