Excited to now able to say funded @nihr.bsky.social for Streptococcal Adaptive Platform Trial (STRAP!) Evaluating 1) Optimal backbone anitibiotics 2) Benefit adjunctive anti-toxin antibiotics 3) Benefit IVIG Collab with Australia (hope also NZ & Canada) building off SNAP. Aim open in UK in 2027

We believe that the FDA should communicate the results of all efficacy trials—not just a few of them—so that clinicians and the public can have more realistic expectations about FDA-approved drugs and make better-informed treatment decisions.

Excellent use of Bayesian statistics in the SNAP trial. 89% probability of superiority is so much more intuitive than p<0.05. www.nejm.org/doi/full/10....
