Show PostI would be remiss not to share that my brilliant husband Josh (not on Bluesky) will also be joining VUMC as the Medical Director of New Technology and Strategy for Vanderbilt Medical labs, and ID diagnostics service chief. He will be looking for a Leishmania genomics-focused postdoc.

Show PostAbsolutely thrilled to share that my NIAID Director’s New Innovator Award (DP2) has been funded. I’ll be using functional genomics, biochemistry, and immunological techniques to understand the mechanisms and drivers of immune evasion by Treponema pallidum, the bacterium that causes syphilis.
