This is awful, but I do have to wonder about a lot of the comments saying how bad it is that he's admitting it, like... ...what outcome do we want, here? I'm not sure we should be encouraging people to lie about abuse because admitting to it looks worse.

I mean its shit but he was punished and battered himself. Isn't that what we want as an outcome? It also wasn't his to share depending on wishes of the victim

Also personally, I do wish Nebula said something like "We are choosing to forgive because we acknowledge someone's growth over their mistakes", but they certainly don't have to. (especially when I don't know much about Jacob and whether or not he did change since then)

....I don't get it. He did something horrible, talked to the person he did it to, was punished, and moved on. This was a decade ago. Did anyone else report him? Did something terrible happen recently? Because as far as I understand this is all very much in the past and people are just reacting now
