The online right already had, and still has, multiple monopolized spaces for free-range radicalization. X being yet another one *does* make that problem worse: but only for the leftish people who choose to hang out there and get radicalized into fascist culture.

This is actually what happens when non-right wing people spend a lot of time hanging out and participating on 4chan and the like. Their political beliefs and values shift toward the norms of the openly fascist political spaces they inhabit. Which happens on X too.

whether it should be normal misses the fact that it currently is normal for one side, and unless you fight fire with fire everyone will continue to act rationally when only one side is offering consequences for going against them
