I’m not afraid to say that I’m still funky abt this. Personally not for the spoilers or the waiting, but for the way Glitch has always made clear they wanted to put gratuity and accessibility first for everyone. Still happy for the indie animation achievement, tho! Hoping this gets to Italy :)

several things can be true at once here: - it's really cool for indie animation like this to be in theaters - it's a real negative consequence that people have to deal with spoilers for two weeks. that sucks. - glitch actively chose the path that led to that - it's almost certainly still worth it

I understand the 2 week gap a lot more knowing it was smth enforced by the theaters, and I agree this is a huge step for indie animation. but all the people in the replies calling others who were rightfully upset "entitled" are insane. I am glad we got this context but nobody was being entitled?

Ultimately I get it and to clarity I *AM* super happy they get to do this! But splitting people into groups *out of the blue* and forcing fans and artists to choose between engaging with the community and lessen their experience later, or completely disengage sucks and does put a damper on it

this makes a lot of sense but also some of these replies man. what kind of asshole do you have to be to think "oh you're upset no theaters in your country are showing it? you're just an entitled jerk"
