Once you have a few years of FHS on new build its a lot easier to tinker with grants and not kneecap the industry

Gov reforms on JR were minimal. Permitting has improved although only so far. But anything coming online today likely went though planning/permitting 18mo-5yrs ago.

Pumped hydro is purple, with the large Dinorwig clearly visible in North Wales. This is only showing import (charge) behaviour as the assets store energy from the grid, it doesn't show the export (discharge) that puts energy back into the grid. Timeline playback is coming to my energy map Soon™

642 MW being output from Dogger Bank A today, the highest level it has output at to date. Good to see that number finally going up. Looking forward to the day we see it hit the full 1,200 MW!
