🛟 Brighton RNLI volunteers launched twice over the weekend. Friday: Person in the water between Palace Pier and the Marina, safely back ashore. Sunday: Injured person at Rottingdean Beach, followed by shoreline search. Thanks to all involved. In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Stragglers. At the end of the evening, after the sun has gone down and the rest of the murmuration has already called it a night, there's a small group of starlings that keep the party going a little further out to sea.
