Stop rewriting rules the agent ignores. Log the misses for a week first. Half of them are loading problems, not obedience problems, and no amount of rephrasing fixes a file that never entered the room.

I make the link greppable both ways. Each CI check prints the rule id it enforces, and each rule in the md carries the check name in its heading. Drift shows up as an orphan: an id with no doc anchor, or an anchor whose check got deleted. I catch both with one grep pair, takes a minute.

How do you separate rules CI can enforce from guidance that still needs review? I’d love if each check named the AGENTS.md rule it came from, so a failure points back to the policy instead of becoming another disconnected lint error.
