@piekwerk.bsky.socialConsidering the metric tonne of supplychain attacks out there, I alone decide on packages. I research them on age, last updated, popularity, number of contributers etc. In my CLAUDE.md there is a line that says: "Do not install packages. You can suggest one, but NEVER install a package yourself"
Show PostI asked Claude to confirm that two linux computers were "configured identically" thinking he'd compare a handful of settings files. I failed to consider how much he loves verifying things. Not sure how long I should let him have his fun before breaking in to make sure he's not doing it byte-for-byte
Show PostThe coding agent responses optimise for machine-machine legibility (itself/its subagents), which feels like opacity. Fighting to make the agent human reader-legible is presumably counterproductive to its efficacy. A partner chat lets you both expand back out to legible form & steer more effectively
Show PostI wonder how well it would work to have an "agent compatible" version of your blog where every blog post is just a short summary and then instructions for the agent to surface a message to the user that to actually read it, they just have to go there themselves
Show PostBeen building Claude Code mods. Nobody I know talks about them. Are mods useless? Found 6 catalogs, almost the same name. Biggest one's data: 5,058 mods (Oct 18). 70% draw on screen. Per the docs, VS Code's extension shows none of it. Oh. Maybe they're just invisible. github.com/karanb192/aw...
