Show PostDebugging note: if your NVR shows a black screen but VLC plays the camera RTSP stream fine, it is almost always a codec/transport mismatch — the NVR wants H.264 over TCP, the camera is pushing H.265 or UDP. Check the SDP from the SETUP exchange before you blame the camera.
Show PostRTSP 461 "Unsupported transport" is the most misread error out there. It just means the client asked for a transport the camera will not serve (TCP vs UDP, unicast vs multicast). Force rtsp_transport=tcp and re-check — the camera is usually fine.
