Every time Glawell or someone like him pulls this shit he's giving ammunition to people who think reading Google's AI summary counts as "doing their own research" and carries more weight than a set of peer reviewed studies. Drives me up the fucking wall.

...decide ex ante who counts as a cop, grab the data and make your comparison. The problem for Gladwell is even though it's easy in concept, actually doing it is really hard. When I teach methods to budding researchers we spend two whole weeks on how to answer questions like "who counts as a cop."
