more like putting honey on a toothache the way the "war on drugs" doesn't even treat the symptoms and makes the underlying causes worse

If there's legal alternatives then cartels immediately cant compete. but also dont just hand out free drugs in shitty shelters like my local ndp party did. you have to get them help too.

Its never been about getting drugs off the streets its always been about criminalizing minorities and militarizing the police. The same tactic and language the LAPD used when it destroyed black neighborhoods in the 20th century.
