TIL that Glucagon, which is what they give people who have passed out with low blood sugar, contains 0 glucose carbs sugar but is a hormone that tells the liver to insta-release stored glucose to save a person and this just happens automatically for non diabetics, human bodies are simply incredible

A hard thing is when you want to reach out to someone to apologize, but realize the kindest thing to do is just leave them alone. If an apology helps you, but not them, then it’s not something you should do. Even if not doing it makes you feel like your skin is crawling.

One thing I’ve noticed about Bluesky is it seems more heavily dependent on the social graph, so being more proactive about liking/following (& having low threshold for doing this) soon creates a much better experience. Unlike other platforms, which will throw more nonsense at you whatever you do.
