My final verdict on Hellraiser Revival: the gameplay is fun but nothing special as far as “survival horror” games go, occasionally it gets sort of wonky, the art direction and story are pretty legit, as is the acting. I feel a lot more forgiving of its shortcomings for its modest budget price.

My biggest complaint is resource scavenging. I’m not a huge fan of crafting in general, it’s busywork, and I was perpetually so full on some items it wouldn’t let me pick up the ample more of them it was providing me with, but not able to find any of the last component needed to make something.
