This exactly, people want healthier idols and it’s actually refreshing to see him very open about his health issues and his dieting / fitness journey, but he’s still the butt of weight and appearance jokes. 😕

right? and he's since grown and learned from it. same with the other members bar siwon. people seem to forget that alot of these poorly aged comments during 2nd gen are things other idols have also said as well, it's unfortunately of the time period. what matters is people have changed and learned.

i need to fact check the stuff i have read about him being diabetic hence the dramatic weight loss due to medication, exercise and diet changes, but it's really sad that he's still used as a punching bag because of his looks. people want healthier idols but you can't win no matter what.
