Damn. EA is closing down Bioware. RIP Mass Effect 5. I didn't have high hopes for the game itself based on the circumstances surrounding it and the studio, but it's always sad to see a legendary company get shuttered-even if it was a husk of its former self.

Man. Dragon Age defined the 2010s for me. I played through every game until VG. Back then I was beside myself to find a fantasy game where I was able to romance men and be represented. The concept as a whole was new to me and it was how I branched out to Fable and other RPGs. RIP Bioware 💔

People will be quick to blame EA for the failings of Bioware. I'd like to remind the audience, Bioware had HORRIBLE buisness practices, botched development, and needed EA to course correct a number of projects. EA dug a hole, but Bioware shot themselves like ten times.
