I only know because The Indelicates did a song, Hotwheels, about him on their brilliant album Avenue QAnon. @simonindelicate.indelicates.xyz told his full story at one of their (infrequent but wonderful) gigs. Their songs are such a great window onto social events.

At least book's print run turned out to be outright defective, its open binding fell apart if you actually read the book. Thankfully that book was a Booker award nominee written in a made-up language, so pretty much only the reviewers read the initial print run and few people noticed.
