Because you come across as smug in not wanting to “understand Bitcoin”.. secretly you still think you’re right about it and that eventually everyone else will be wrong. It’s how you approach the subject more than you’re “I’m wrong.” And obviously the teeth quote is disgraceful ignorance

These kinds of responses are predictable because you're a financial markets columnist for the Financial Times and have been covering bitcoin for the last 7+ years; people expect more. It would serve you better by seeking a genuine understanding, rather than seemingly-feigned "I don't know"isms.
