For people who want to keep yelling at me because I'm not immediately repulsed by the idea of providing scripts to teachers, this is (pretty close to) what I was handed as a baby teacher. These sections were called "scripts" and no students were harmed in the making of math knowledge.

Maybe they think because it has some good questions and things you might say, that’s a script? To me that’s a very helpful suggestion!

In my district we adopted a not scripted math curriculum a few years ago (Illustrative Mathematics), which offers suggestions of questions you might ask (good ones!). And I have been surprised to hear people refer to it as a scripted curriculum, which it is not at all.
