birds mean accountability to me. the best friends i've had were people who weren't afraid to tell me they were hurt, they didn't like something, or they needed space. that means everyone is, genuinely, safe to show weakness, vulnerability, and ask for help without fear. my birds taught me that.

Show Posta parrot is a cute little thing that knows it's prime pickings for a predator. a balance of chubby cheeks, gentle compassion, and being ready and willing to prove a point. ask anyone who says parrots are nasty what they did to a parrot first. joy and kindness cannot come without backup.
