AI did not and does not 'detect' breast cancer. Humans developed that screening technology and will continue to be the final arbiter of that diagnosis. Surrender final diagnosis to a tool that can be manipulated at your own peril.

The regulations would have meant anyone submitting medical claims to Medicaid or Medicare for payment wouldn’t have been able to use AI in coding the claims—no running medical records thru AI to see how the AI codes it. A basic, smart rule as inaccuracy (or just fraud) is a big issue.
