Pharma sales in Japan grew 49% at constant rates in Q3, after 4% to 14% in the prior four quarters. Without Japan, Roche grew 6.6% in francs, not 8.1%. Roche puts Japan's nine months (+25%) mainly down to product supply to third parties and growing drugs, plus timing effects of a new ERP system.
