I truly despise this government. A government that serves property speculators, landlords and tech lords. They have no vision of a decent society that tries to take care of the majority of its citizens. There is no social contract.

Most of the people I know in the Civil Service are near burn out. They are in Departments that are understaffed, and have been for years. We really can't give more. I'm seriously considering early retirement, and I'm not the only one.

Like it doesn’t do that and more already? The public service delivers for human beings, the environment, healthcare, education, culture and society etc - value is intrinsic to that and always has been.
