Went up to the summit of Pikes Peak today (14,115ft). They sell donuts at the summit house so we made ours into the CO for Colorado and took a photo looking out to the far away snow capped mountains. A foot or more of snow in places, road clear. Cold but warm enough to not need jacket.

One of the hardest things about realistic trauma recovery is keeping your sh*t together in a public setting when your nervous & endocrine systems are melting the f*ck down under the hood. Easy does it. Talk yourself through, manage your mental "spotlight," & breathe. Breathe.
