This has been a persistent regular thing in every subcultural circle I've ever been in and especially furry, and especially online. I sometimes worry folks have internalized social media to the extent they believe mob violence is the only valid communication style, it's frustrating as heck.

I’d argue that this is an incredibly important memory actually, it shows one of the first times you experienced a situation in which even doing exactly what an adult told you to do ended up being the wrong thing, which can lead to a ‘nothing I do is right’ mentality
