Show PostStill have super fond memories of making this, electric times. Probably the first game I designed (after hundreds of finished and unfinished projects) that really felt like there was something special.
Show PostAnd as an aside - you should not doubt how fucking uncool D&D was in 1998 as a game, and how poisoned that particular well had been for a while. Baldur's Gate turned that around, and if you do want a road from D&D then to D&D now, it does strike me that Bioware's needs more credit than they get.
Show Posti feel like tomb raider's historical importance has gotten written out a bit because of other things about the franchise. having played the first one a few years back... it may not be as tightly designed as Mario 64 or whatever but it's way more complex in other ways, kinda shocking for 1996
