@pmbirding.bsky.socialJudging by the photo, crowd control at twitches has finally got on top of wayward toggers getting too close. 😉
Show PostLovely fresh juvenile Dunlin at Farmoor this evening - wonder where this hatched? Autumn wader season well underway.
Show PostGreat weekend starting with black-winged kite ✅ quail, cranes, bearded tits and spoonbills in Norfolk on Saturday then the western reef heron ✅ in Caernarfon and choughs at south stack on Sunday.
Show PostArrived just in time for the Red-necked Phalarope at Farmoor this afternoon. What a superb bird, I saw the spring female on Port Meadow in 2018 but it was a distant spinning speck compared to this. Another great find from Roger Wyatt and another great record for Oxfordshire this year #ukbirding
Show PostThe Holy Grail of urban birding in spring, a male Redstart, was on Warneford Meadow, Oxford, today. It has taken eight years, but was worth every moment this morning. It even burst into song on a couple of occasions, just magical! @friendlyevalley.bsky.social @patchbirding.bsky.social #UKbirding
