If there is even a stamp-sized area anywhere in a cat’s vicinity that you do not want stepped on -- a phone, a remote, a sensitive body part, a nuclear launch button, whatever -- a cat will somehow know exactly where it is, make a beeline for it, and step on it. probably several times.

Like I’m not even factoring in the ability to switch reasonably fluidly between English and French. Just seeing someone making coherent sentences in any language at all is … quite the contrast.
