www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSR-... when TADC did this my first thought was unironically "Man this would go so hard as a bumper I see every 20 minutes between reruns of other shows"

Idk about everyone but I would absolutely pay for an indie cartoon network. And not just a streaming service that's functionally identical to youtube, no, i mean a curated stream of shows with unique bumpers and blocks and premiere times.

the only shit i ever see getting ink is either a person who put all their spare time through a thresher to pretend they're a bigger production than they are or the two or three smallish projects that hit way bigger than anyone saw coming. cartoon brew doesn't seem to know who worhtikids is. why?

and just to be clear, i'm not advocating for animators to be paid less. i make below the poverty line depending on the month, and the labor creep i get stuck with makes my union friends' heads spin around on their necks. but if the money's not coming in, we need actual production solutions

give this a fraction of the usual $100k+ per episode, suddenly the creator can full-time this, you can hire a small crew at union wages/benefits, and now you're getting episodes out at a reasonable pace. it doesn't look like any given action series you grew up on, but it looks great!
