I left 3D animation and got lucky getting a pot washing job. It's very tough at first, but it gets easier. Good luck. I hope you can find something soon.

it's incredibly humbling applying to entry level receptionist/assistant/customer service jobs at 36 years old, having 10+ years of animation industry experience (that they don't care about) and hearing nothing back, but I'm going to keep applying I guess!!!
Show Posthow anybody is surviving in LA right now without inherited wealth I have no idea.
Show Posta few months ago i went pretty hard looking for non-animation jobs online, had some okay freelance, and now i'm back at it and it is just as dire if not worse as last time if anyone knows of anywhere hiring please hit me up, getting kinda desperate at this point
