I said "Oh, I don't know about that!" thinking he was humoring me. But then he said "It is. You try to sense the higher potential of an art form and hold the artist to that standard." He'd never read me, and that was fine. I was grateful to meet one eloquent person in the wild who felt that way.

This referendum confirms my long-held theory that conservative Albertans love to stomp around and slam doors and whine and complain, but they only want to do it in their daddy's house. We are a province of snotty teenagers who refuse to grow up.
