What I'm hearing: avoiding tedium by using commercially-available A.i. is more important to you than avoiding the numerous well-documented harms that such A.i. causes. I mean, you're an EDITOR, surely you are aware that this "tool" only works when it has stolen from human labor?

You know what would be great? If ex-AI users could listen to those who warned about this instead of scolding AI resisters about shame/guilt. Listen, accountability is not possible when people think they should never have to feel ashamed of bad behavior or complicity with bad systems/structures.
