Erm, a solar eclipse is impossible at Passover. It falls at full moon, and solar eclipses need a new moon. The gospel darkness lasted three hours; eclipses max out around seven minutes. I remember the silence after she did it. I was 24 and it didn't affect me like most of my friend's parents and my grandmother, who was Lutheran. I think she was more shocked than appalled though. She also didn't know who Sinead was until I told her.
