I bought the batts because my handspinning teacher gave me a challenge for the rest of this year: practice spinning yarns with less twist and more loft, which means a more woolen spinning method. and for that, my stash of combed top/pin-drafted roving won't work very well. so: the batts!

my very reasonable Rhinebeck acquirings! the grey batts are Cormo roving from Keep Em Coming Farm (from a sheep named Lexi!), and the green and pink braids are Rambouillet combed top from Dirty Girls Yarn I also got a pair of pewter spinning wheel earrings, which I am wearing now
