Sounds like such a great idea! My book the Alternative Press was sort of a biography of the press. It was published by a university press, but was kind of a cross-over book and it's definitely had a public reception, which has been v fun. I really want to see more studies of presses!
Show PostThere are also terrific books on Broadside Press/Dudley Randall, and on the Detroit Printing Co-op. Very Detroit-centric list here, but my impression is that we need way more books in this vein on the huge impact of small presses!
Show PostLike this post to be added to the "AI Slur Users" list. It is for people who use slurs for AI (eg, clanker, wireback), or who thinks doing so is not antisocial or problematic at all. If your use of AI slurs is facetious or discussion of them, please don't add yourself to the list. Sincere use only.
Show PostLike this post to be added to the "AI Haters" list. It is for people who subscribe to anti-AI blocklists or otherwise are poorly disposed to have productive conversations about AI.
