Yeah it is so insane, also just objectively the No Kings protests have accomplished very little when it comes to changing outcomes. I say that as someone who founded my own Indivisible Chapter and has put on three No Kings events already. They work to network groups together, but that is about it.

Also - the idea that US protest is 'more efficient' is prima facie ridiculous. Compare what the social fight has given the people of France's in comparison with US workers.

It also is a harder thing to fix, as it is far easier to send the gendarmerie out to blow the hands off of teenagers and brutally beat kids in streets then it is to actually fix the economy and society to work for more than the ultra wealthy and comfortable rich.
