Great news , the great -tailed grackle is alive and well and in fine voice 🙌🏼😍 I’ve not seen him since end of July around Speke hall , he’s not gone far tho He was On Dakota drive about 100 yards down from main gate to B and M warehouse #patchbirding

Good to be back on the Anglesey patch after a day trip to Yorkshire yesterday to the see the Rufous-tailed Robin and what a welcome back: Grey Phalarope on the Alaw Estuary this evening. A self-found UK tick and my first in the UK for 18 years!

Plenty of birds along the shore at Abergwyngregyn this morning. Something put the smaller waders up and eventually revealed itself as this Merlin - always exciting to bump into these little falcons. 15 Grey Plover was a decent count for here too, quite a scarce bird in N Wales. #birdingWales
