This is the part that I’m honestly trying to square my own emotions on. I *do* want a world where this kind of thing isn’t a dark secret that remains hidden until people go digging into people’s pasts. I also don’t want confession to be consequence free just because someone says sorry the right way.

Don’t assume I don’t care about the victim. I hope for all victims of SA to fully recover from it, and I accept that that can and should include some form of justice against the perpetrators. I want to figure out what can be best for everyone.
