Nonetheless, lots of us do not accept male privilege as our birthright. Not because we are not men, because we are, but because we simply do not believe anybody should have it regardless of gender and AGAB. Some of us do benefit from it in a few circumstances, but I personally reject it outright.

On the subject of trans men having male privilege; The truth is, if we pass well enough, we can benefit from male privilege in some circumstances, but only if people don’t know we’re trans. If we don’t want to be treated as 5 year olds playing pretend, we basically have to not tell anyone.

An adjascent point: I also don’t believe that trans men are “female socialised” for similar reasons. I can only speak from personal experience, but growing up being treated as a girl was deeply traumatic. Not because there’s anything wrong with girls, but because I am simply not a woman.
