I definitely don’t always go fast. But there are more contexts where I do. Like being in a rush to get home or trying to catch a light. I can easily get to speeds that, on a regular bike, I would basically only achieve going down a hill.

I’m not generally a fan of bike helmet laws, but my province requires them for e-bikes and that honestly seems reasonable. I’ve had much more experience using e-bikes recently, and the difference in speed is quite noticeable.
