Everyone lately is talking about bots who hop into threads just to politely disagree. Why aren't there any polite bots in *my* mentions? Come on, robots! Give me some vague milquetoast rebuttals that make me feel appreciated as a person and confused as to the reason for your existence! I need it!

American Dragon Ball fans are the most normies of the broader anime fandom. Just a cool show to them. They, by and large, don’t want to be reminded that it’s Japanese! They LIKE the changes! Badass! Epic! It’s not cool to care about the artistic merit! (These are broad generalizations… but true.)
Show PostLook, I don't mean to brag, but I just completed Punch-Out!! while simultaneously watching a *subtitled* episode of Dragon Ball GT, which was on my computer, which was in my lap. I never missed reading a line of dialogue, and I only took one punch the entire game. I'm just awesome.
