Wow! I walked the decks of Cutty Sark just before giving a paper on Conrad’s Secret Sharer at the U of Greenwich. I was amazed at how small the ship was relative to my imagination of it. And she was no small schooner; she was the clipper who made the tea run ‘round the horn “in 12 parsecs”.
